Data Collection
GeoCalc does not collect personal information. All calculations are performed locally in your browser — your shape dimensions and mathematical inputs never leave your device. We do not run any server-side calculation processing, and we have no access to the values you enter into our tools.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization and collects anonymized data such as pages visited, session duration, and browser type. This data helps us understand which calculators are most used and how we can improve the site. No individual user is identified. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
We display Google AdSense ads to help fund free access to GeoCalc. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history across websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings. You can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.
Cookies
GeoCalc does not set first-party cookies. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics (to track sessions) and Google AdSense (to deliver and measure ads). You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of our geometry calculators, though it may impact analytics and ad personalization.
Third-Party Services
Our only third-party service integrations are Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Both operate under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share data with any other third parties and do not sell data to advertisers.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
GeoCalc is used by students of all ages, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our site does not require registration or any personal data submission to use the calculators. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please contact us to have it removed.
Data Retention
GeoCalc retains no personal data. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention policy. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to the inquiry.
